Sonlight

Sonlight

The Red, orange shroud rests behind the mountain.

Darkness depletes itself in a time.

People fear Darkness.

Lakes of people ride the waves of sunlight.

Each ray moves them closer to the distant shore.

The cold air leaves as the warm air arrives.

But as the far sands are approached, the cold wind returns.

The morning has come and midday is gone.

Thoughts of night start to creep ever so slowly.

Many people fear the night, but not you.

You know that the Son will return soon.

You will be warm once again.

You know that friends will be there on the shore.

You will embrace them.

So you just keep riding the waves day by day,

Until you reach the sand,

And then the Son will stay forever.

No More Darkness.
